Scholarships
New Student Admissions Scholarship
This scholarship is a one-semester scholarship offered to new full-time students seeking a bachelor’s degree at WSU Kazakhstan. The admissions scholarship offered up to 100% covers only the tuition and does not cover other expenses such as residence, meals, book, or other non-tuition costs. Students may apply for the continuing merit-based scholarships following the completion of the first semester.
Criteria for scholarship selection:
- Academic Record
- English Test Score
- Unified National Test (UNT) Score
- Admissions Interview
Continuing Student Merit-based Scholarship:
Students are eligible for scholarships up to 100% after the first semester at WSU Kazakhstan.
Criteria for scholarship:
- The previous semester Grade Point Average (GPA)
- The student cannot receive an “F” during the previous semester
- Minimum academic credits for that semester must be taken
